Maryville at Smithville

I want to hear everyone's take on this big game that decides the MEC title. Both teams have great Defense's with Maryville's giving up 30 total points and Smithville giving up 56 but 35 of which came against Class 5 Park Hill. Both Offenses are strong too, Maryville scoring 303 while Smithville scoring 176. What gives? Do the defense's make this a slugfest MEC style? Or do the Offenses turn this into a high scoring game?
My prediction: Maryville 35 Smithville 21

Calpreps has [2015] Maryville (MO) 35, [2015] Smithville (MO) 20. Since it is right about 85% of the time...I'm going with Maryville to win. That would be a fun one to watch. If I don't venture out tonight.. I'll be watching the podcast.

Has the potential to be a slugfest if smithville can control Beemer. That kid is hell on wheels for about everyone he plays. But even if they do contain him, maryville has a lot of weapons. Not do downplay a very talented smithville team but I like maryville 40-10

Maryville 23-7 at the half. Maryville led 15-0 into the late second quarter when Smithville drove down and scored with 22 seconds left in the half and kicked the extra point. Smithville's drive was aided by two pass interference calls against the Spoofhounds. With 22 seconds left, Maryville drove to the 1 yard line with 1.8 seconds left in the half when Beemer scored up the middle. Spoofhounds converted a 2 point play to give the final score of the first half.
