I NEVER said that's what Lutheran North is doing. I said that that's what A PARENT used as a reason to leave the St. Charles Lutheran school. I never once accused Lutheran North of anything. My response was in relation to a comment of Lutheran North is developing all of this D1 talent. I mentioned two cases in which D1 talent transferred IN this year. I also know of a few more cases in which struggling students with a lot of athletic talent transferred to Lutheran North in previous years.
I am not saying that North is doing anything illegal. MAYBE they have a Special ED / IEP program for these athletes. Who knows. That part I can not speak on. I only speak on what I know sir.
To imply a child is in Special Ed is way worse than anything else in this thread ... c'mon man be better than that

I didnt read the previous post so maybe I misunderstood and thats on me. Lutheran North is a college prep school that wont even admit students that dont qualify. So the notion that they are admitting anyone with horrible grades I seriously doubt. All of the Lutheran high schools are apart of the same organization and have the same academic standards.

My understanding that the highest you can be bumped is 2 classes. So LN class 4 and Trinity Class 5?
You guys are freaking ridiculous. I didn't imply anything except for the fact that Lutheran North MAY have better resources for struggling students. Which is actually a compliment. And I clearly said, I don't even know much about their academic resources. But clearly some of you need a few additional lessons in comprehension.
This is not completely true as I can name 7 Private College prep schools with Special Ed programs. The St. Charles Lutheran school being one of them. SLUH and MICDS are the only STL privates TO MY KNOWLEDGE (there could be others) that have extremely strict academic enrollment standards. Over the last few years, this is why many families chose CBC over SLUH & Desmet do to CBC having a C-track ed program that worked better for academically struggling athletes.
Lutheran North and Lutheran South are in the same association. Lutheran St Charles is in a different one. Academically, South is a larger school and offers more courses. The overall ACT score at South is also better but North is no slouch. A lot more schools other than SLUH and MICDS have strict academic admissions, i.e. Burroughs. In terms of Lutheran North, the kids consistently qualify to play at the next level. I do not hear about North kids failing to get the required ACT score and grades like I have heard at some other STL private schools. Unfortunately, North's kids get stereotyped because if the school's location and student population. Truth is the football program has sent kids to Georgetown, Wash U, and other great universities. Starting corner has ivy league offers and just get another one from Brown. I also see the kids staying in schools and actually getting degrees. Before you comment on North's academics, you may want to look at the school's overall college attendance rate and the percentage that graduate college. Both are extremely high.
It also eliminates the current multiplier. Without the multiplier Lutheran North's enrollment is like 140. Solidly a Class 1 school. The highest theyll ve bumped is Class 3.
I've explained this EXACT thing no less than 5 times.
You stated that a player transferred to North after his old school wouldn't change a grade. You can't make that kind of a statement and then come back and say North is a great school. Great schools don't do the things you are implying North is doing or will do. In terms of scholarship high, that was never in trouble. Scholarship high is not about kids getting major offers; it is about every senior getting a chance to play at the next level. There were already prospects on the team outside of the transfers. No one talks about the kids that transfer from LN. Hazelwood West has a D1 lineman who is a LN transfer. ESTL has a D1 lineman that is a LN transfer. North gets kids and kids leave North like every other private school.
One has to wonder how the Lutherans at St. Paul’s in Concordia can be 1-8 and the Lutherans in St. Louis at Lutheran North are so good.
North didn't do anything. The kids PARENTS made a decision to transfer him. Why are schools being held accountable for the actions of parents?
Do you know their enrollment numbers or are you just talking? I never seen you make many enlightening point or say anything compelling about actual Football so I dont read most of your post.
To me this is how it came off maybe I’m totally misinterpreting it but it seemed to be what is implied I truly hope the kids subtly mentioned don’t get on here and you meant nothing by it and will happily delete my post of it if the sped one is deleted. its hard for me to see adults throwing that around like that as I felt it was out of ignorance. maybe I’m wrong but please edit your post so it’s more clear and I will happily delete both

????? I just didnt see it previously mentioned. And yea Im mainly in conversations about X's and O's and you know real life football. Its a portion of MoSports who only wanna talk about Transfers, Private Schools, Enrollments, MSHSAA rules blahblah and thats usually the only time I see you. No offense.
