Maybe I have missed another post on this and yes I know this is a MO high school football site. With that there are a bunch of SEC SEC guys and I've read nothing on here about this. What's the thought on this can he Mangino the Jayhawks back to contenders.

Doesn’t matter if it was Belichick, unless KU commits to winning in football, no one can consistently win there. May not be totally accurate, but I’ve read where the football budget is the same as when Mangino was there. It was adequate then. Not any more.
I wonder how many former coaches and assistant coaches that they are still paying that will affect a budget pretty quickly. I don’t think money is as big of an issue as commitment to football all them jacklegs care about is what Bill Self had for breakfast
Are they using adidas money to buy football players now too?
That Colorado situation is odd. Macintyre seems ok. They we SOOOOO freaking bad before he took over. I get he’s had time. And they’re certainly better now than they were during the Embree/Hawkins sh&$ show years. Odd that they’d risk it again.

KCMO sports radio has been all over this for two days. Apparently the KU AD and Miles have a connection. I personally cannot wrap my brain around a coach of that magnitude coaching at KU.
Just think if Mizzou would have been smart enough to hire Bill Self instead of Quinn Snyder. Kansas would really be sucking soup for the last few years
If this actually happens it would be amazing for the Big XII .Not because Kansas being good is good for the league but because having a guy who has the caliber of defenses he brings would be good for the league and would force the other teams in the league to step their game up defensively. Can you imagine if Oklahoma would have had even an average defense over the last 5 years? They would have been really hard to beat. It will be interesting to say the least.
Good get for kansas. Now let's get Mizzou/kU back on the schedule!

I could not believe it last year when they gave Snyder a five year extension.
What's deal is he will get a pretty good team but he will f it up. His mouth gets him into a lot of trouble, but his name may get him some recruits. The real POS is the AD for Kansas. Bill Self gets away with cheating, NCAA has no balls, no balls.

Yeah Self cheats. DA comment. That's why Silvio De Sousa is sitting on the bench instead of playing. Kentucky has the top three NBA draft picks next year all freshman and Self cheats, lmao.
And as I said which I assumed you could comprehend "the kid in question is sitting next n the bench". Means he's not playing. Not because of the NCAA but because Self is sitting him until the NCAA makes a ruling.. The other kid went to Duke I believe not positive. So if KU did something wrong wth did they do to sign him??
