Lamar @ Lutheran North

Huge game.
Typo....

I’d say about 600-700 just Lamar fans will be there. How many do you think we’re just spectators?

There will be enough room to accommodate 600-700 Lamar fans. There aren't bleachers at the endzones, so they won't be able to sit ON the field itself, but there will be ample room. Even along the fence around the track or on the hills surrounding the field. LaMothe Field is like a giant bowl.

So there’s not many bleachers? And ok. I was mainly aiming towards how many people were at last weeks game not affliated with Lutheran or the opposing team? In your humble opinion?

There are bleachers. I mentioned the fences because I see Lamar fans regularly lined up along the fences surrounding the field and they'll sit behind the endzones, when seating is available.

If you're referring to the Trinity game and asking "how many people unaffiliated with either school were there?". I'd say both schools had about 500 fans/parents/students at the game. I'd estimate at least 4000 were drawn to the game from the area.

.......and of those 4000 could you estimate maybe how many of those were college scouts??:D

From watching the Luthern North/Trinity game, it looked like they added some opposing team bleachers that weren't there when we played there last.

I truly meant it as a joke...well, not a joke but light-heartedly. I'm sure there were a lot!!

College scholarship offers don't win high school State Championships. Who got offered where won't matter on Saturday afternoon any more than the 6 rings Lamar's coaches have earned. Both teams will be locked into "the now". That's a fact.

Just pointing out your jab was really pathetic considering Lamar’s scoutless players beat a team filled with recruited athletes. Keeping it real.

Here's what's "real". None of the offers and none of the rings that were won over the last 6 years matter. You can prognosticate about who you think has the better coach, whose fans roll the deepest, claim superior discipline or teamwork or culture or work ethic, bitch and moan about recruiting and the unfairness of life itself and NONE of that will affect what happens on that field on Saturday.

What's pathetic is YOU personally taking shots all over multiple posts in MOSPORTS about rumors you heard about dirty play and prematurely making excuses for a loss in a game that didn't even happen yet, with that "bought and paid for" comment today. I've given Lamar their props because they wear the crown. But don't lecture me when I punch back.

What's "real" is I dare you to name 3 Lamar players over the last 6 championships seasons with D1 offers. If you don't want to hear about Trinity or Lutheran North's, then you need to keep your mouth shut and quit playing the victim. You're embarrassing yourself AND Lamar's program.

Wow assumptions galore. They recruit ok? It’s a fact. Next, I ASKED about the rumor, someone said it wasn’t true, so I dropped it. They still beat Trinity! That bothers you to your core doesn’t it? No need to get hasty. We are all adults here. I can’t help you are very defensive about people seeing the obvious signs of recruiting. A loss that hasn’t happened yet? There’s still a very good chance Lamar wins. I’m by no means suggesting it’s a pre mature excuse. I’ve said all year the stink with Trinity and Lutheran North is disgusting. Punch back? You talked about D1 recruits, so I mentioned a team with NONE beat a team with over 10. Finally, I mentioned seating and how many fans will possibly show, so people could tell if we needed to bring seats or not. Not to brag. You should really start asking questions instead of assuming. Good luck Saturday. That is all.

Right off the top of my head I can think of 5 and know there were others....
Sam Bailey 2014 grad
Ben Bailey 2014 grad
Jared Beshore 2014 grad
Austin Boice 2013 grad
AJ Eaves 2012 grad

I realize we might not have as many as Trinity or Lutheran North, but we have had them.

Some others Lamar Tigers still playing.

Landon Compton at Missouri S&T

Trenton Monet has since transferred to PittState.

Also at Pitt State

Brett McDonald
Todd Morrow
Keagan Duncan
Luke Hardeman
Anthony Wilkerson

Looks like Pitt State benefited from hosting a Lamar playoff game!

Well, you couldn't do it.

He challenged you to name 3.
