It's pro sports, dude. Not church league. I don't like them either, but to suggest an NFL player shouldn't play b/c he smoked a bit of weed and was late for meetings is just goofy.

Belichick has done this countless times, throughout his tenure at New England. Players with baggage, veterans at the end of their career, or players no one gave a chance. Whatever Belichick is doing, he is doing it right. Now if how he is getting that to happen ethical or not, well that stays behind closed doors.

Pro sports. Dunno what is, but being late for a meeting (believe he was already suspended for the pot while with the Steelers) isn't. Winning is the goal in pro sports. Winning a morality contest isn't. And on the grand scale, smoking pot and being late every once in a while isn't enough to get in the way of winning.

Btw...Glad to hear you enjoyed the nights you worked here in Lakerland and were treated well. How long ago did you call games here?
