Buffalo scored late to take their first lead.

New England had the ball at the 25 and threw a swing pass to a back who went 34 yards but they threw a flag for an ineligible man down field. In the replay, you see the center was in fact five yards downfield as the ball was being caught.

But they picked up the flag and never announced why. A huge no call. Anyone know why they picked up the flag? The center was not blocking anyone.

if the ball was caught behind the LOS the linemen can be downfield

Not in the NFL

High school and NCAA allow for an exception on screen plays, where the ineligible player is allowed to cross the line of scrimmage to go out and block when the ball is caught behind the line of scrimmage.

Make up call against the Bills for the defensive holding on the last play against the Giants.
