Kind of ironic that Carthage wins its first state title in football (2019) 30 years after it historic rival Webb City won its first state title in (1989). It's been a long time coming. Sometimes all you need is that first one to start something special.

If you remember the early 2000's playing Carthage......they would have 7-8 trophies if they were in class 5. They had some amazing teams back then. Glad they finally got it on a year everyone doubted them.

Very disappointed in their welcome home celebration. cARTHAGE has a cool square that could have been loaded with as many people that were at the high school. You only have one first “Run them sirens down the drag” let everyone know!!

It seems like the Webb 7th, 8th and 9th grade teams lost games this year. I saw that the 8th grade team was turbo clocked by Nixa. However, by the time these classes get to varsity they will win anyway.

They did get home about 3am. Give them a break. That town supports the football team big time
