I wonder how this happens with all the inferior athletes that are in the area...compared to St. Louis?

  • Class 6 Baseball. Liberty North state champs. Blue Springs South, Runner-up.
  • Class 5 Baseball. Platte County state champs.
  • Class 5 Golf. Rockhurst state champs.
  • Class 3 Tennis Pembroke Hill state champs.
  • Class 4 Track Kearney State champs.

Platte has an excellent baseball program don't they?

Yes, as does Liberty North and Liberty. Liberty up 3-0 in district title game, let LN come back for a walk off 4-3 win - otherwise, Liberty repeats as champions. Those teams are loaded with future pros and D1s. The pitcher from Liberty will get drafted in the top 3 rounds. In-game hits 96 mph.

You mean one of the largest metro areas in the state dominated the large class sports and some of the middle classes in spring sports?
that’s just mindblowing.

Mind blowing watching Kearney beat West Plains at state too. Bahaha

Are you counting Warrensburg and Lawson as “mid Missouri?” Lol
Nope

Baseball:
Class 1 St Elisabeth
Class 2 Russellville
Class 3 Father Tolton
Class 4 Southern Boone

Golf:
Class 2 California
Class 3 Father Tolton

Track & Field:
Class 5: Rock Bridge

I used real math and not KC math

Would you like to add girl sports too. KC didn’t do so well there…..

If KC area had also won a bass fishing, bowling, Copenhagen spitting and archery state championships it would be all the proof you need that they have the Best athletes of all time!

Should amend to Dominates Spring Sports - in all the large classes...since we don't really have many small schools in the metro. But you can add Lawson to the list.

OOops...you forgot Warrensburg and Lawson. KC metro up to 8. Boohoo for you.

Bahaha. Right. Smithville? Liberty North? St Pious X. I guess winning and making championships is “falling behind” now. Bahaha. Grandpa been in the medicine cabinet AGAIN.

Well if you think winning 3 state titles in 3 years out of 18 total championship games is “winning and making championships” I am not the one that’s been in the medicine cabinet 🤣🤣🤣

First of all, your initial commentary was erroneous. The Kansas City metro is filled with Class 4 to 6 for the most part. Only on the periphery, are there schools in C3 or below. If you will notice the initial post was about the Kansas City area dominating Spring Sports it was Class 4 in track, the second biggest Class, Kearney won the state title. It was Class 6 and Class 5 in Baseball--the biggest classes...same for the other sports... So don't throw out the "KC metro doesn't have 8-man champions" argument on me. Nice straw man argument---very cute. Almost as cute as it is dumb. We know there are few little guy teams in the metro. Thanks for informing us. But in Spring sports in the larger classes, it was KC bro! LOL

False comparison don't fly. As far as football goes, for the last six years where have the top five teams in class six come from? The majority are from...you guesses it...
