Jackson 52, Seckman 14, final

I think most would agree that the teams they have beat aren't what they used to be, but going 11-0 is pretty impressive. Jackson is going to be a very tough out. Their coaching, support, effort, and expectations are on a level only a few teams in MO have.

For Summit to hold Kevin Emmanuel to 75 rushing yards is extremely impressive, however, Jackson will give them a lot more to think about than Eureka. Jackson will need to get out in front early to test Summit because nobody has done that to them all season.

I think Jackson has many more weapons than Summit has seen this year. Their specialty has been adapting and capitalizing on opponents’ weaknesses. Jackson’s defense will be the biggest factor in this game.

EXACTLY what I look for this time of year. Uncharted waters. This is what helped Webb beat Carthage last night.

I believe, if you look at Jackson’s last 2 regular season games, they were very close for 3 quarters then Jackson wore the teams down and dominated the 4th quarter. Question, in my opinion is, Is Summit in shape enough to keep up with Jackson in the fourth quarter?

Good question. Might depend on how many Summit players go both ways. Jackson has none.
On the other hand, Jackson has turbo clocked most opponents and then turned over the game to the second stringers. Stamina hasn’t been a problem yet and I doubt it will. Jackson has an outstanding conditioning program.

I would say Jackson gets stronger as the game gets later. I am a Jacksonite and have seen Jackson produce great offenses, but now, the last theee years, I have seen the development of very good defenses. The conditioning on both sides of the ball is very impressive. There is absolutely no “quit” in these young men until the job is done.

The 2nd Ritter game was played in a downpour the whole game. Just looking at the stats on STL today, O'Fallon was able to run 73 plays on offense. I would bet that was the most plays a team ran against them all year. 54 completions and rushes would mean they were able to kepe Jackson O on the sideline and in theory run the clock more.

That was a great game for Jackson to have before playoff games started.
