Surely there are some things to talk about. Who are the teams to watch this year? Players?

Washington will be rebuilding I think. Borgia never rebuilds they simply reload. But Eckelkamp is gone. Who will fill those shoes?

Come on Metrodude. You can't be quiet this long. Ha ha

washMoSports go out and watch your 8th grade bluejays. They were 14 and 0 last year. They have talented big guys and good guards. They have some good shooters and one I am particularly partial to.

That's great to hear. I did not get to see them play. Hope you are right. But I expect that the season will be middle of the road. It would be great to see it be a good one.

Greenfield was 14-11 in Class 2 last year, but finished 8-2 down the stretch losing to Rich Hill. Return 4 starters, and move down to Class 1.

Fair Grove will still be very solid in Class 3, though they lose the Cavanaugh kid they return 3 starters that are all above 6'3 and can play. Lost to Mountain Grove in the quarters last year by a handful.

Could Greenfield beat Walnut Grove in their district?

Without the Meinders kid there is definitely a chance, and they have to replace him with consistant point guard play from either Gilkey or another kid.. Greenfield returns 3 of their top scorers. The Wright kid is a junior and is probably a better all around scorer than the Meinders kid. I would have loved to have watched Greenfield play Walnut Grove at the end of the year. It will be between those two in their district for sure.

They play at Greenfield on December 6th as well. Looking forward to that one for sure.

What in the world is Gorman doing taking the Houston job? They are going to be brutal for the foreseeable future.
