He votes against relief for victims in other states (including for Hurricane Katrina, Sandy, Maria, Harvey) & even 9/11 first responders. He thinks FEMA should be disbanded.

Until……….yesterday when he endorses the Kentucky govs request for Federal aid, begging Biden for help. GOP hypocrisy is boundless.

You really believe that a Career Politician who has enriched himself, his family and friends on the taxpayer dime, who earned 17 million while out of office....but somehow only reports being worth 8 million is a good person....Yeah he isn't spoiled and cares about Americans insert EYE ROLL .....I mean clearly he cares so much that he gutted Trumps policy in Afghanistan and implemented some sham cut and run plan that got Americans killed, he has allowed more Covid Deaths than Trump.....he has caused massive inflation taking away real world spendable wages from the average American family and you still think he cares about Americans.

I have never understood why there is such a need for federal money after a natural disaster. Homes and outbuildings are almost always covered by private insurance. Besides debris removal what does the federal money actually pay for??

Flooding usually isn't protected by private insurance. Usually the big Federal money goes to local governments for infrastructure rebuilds(big Grift) and to major big business to offset their cost(Even Bigger Grift). The average joe who has a shortfall from his private insurance is helped by private charity organizations usually churches and other secular Organizations. Sure FEMA does a little here and there but the horror stories on their lack of ability is scary.
