Probably already saw this, but some guy on CNN suggested that the DOJ indict Trump and then Biden pardon him with the only caveat being he can't run for office again.
I hadn't thought about that. Like he said Biden would get it from all sides, but for the good of the country if Biden pardoned him we get this whole mess over.
It is truly a terrible look to have a president behind bars, even for one minute.

Agreed... it does seem like a no win situation regardless of what eventually happens to Trump. However I do believe that he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The evidence being revealed on a daily basis against him is beyond damning !

Agree. The precedent that would be set is something we want to avoid.

Do the crime, do the time.

And before his minions rush in (did they all just disappear?), don't listen to a word he or his team says in their media.

Look at what they say and present in court.

Example: Not a word about declassifying any documents presented to a court yet.

Biden did say he would lead the country in healing and bringing it back together. This would be a first step.

Put his ass on the stand and make him testify... tell the truth or plead the 5th. Then render a verdict. If he is found guilty, (could be on several possible charges) make him pay. If it means time behind bars. so be it !

I would be completely in favor of legislation to eliminate the entire concept of presidential pardons. Presidents ain’t judge nor jury. Just another way political favors get done. Let’s put an end to it.

I agree Arcola!! I know damn well we are not going to convict an ex president of a crime while in office, It ain't going to happen.

Perfect solution; Biden pardons Trump and BOTH agree not to run again!! And take Hillary with them!!
