Since it had not been posted yet, dug it up off of centralmoinfo.com and they have the panel listed. My apologies to them, there seems to be good coverage in voters, as much as 9 allows you anyway.

I still have Webb at #2. I would put West Plains at #3 and Camdenton at #4. I guess we’ll see this Friday.
Tough call, Ladue doesn’t play anyone halfway good until late in the season. Webb’s toughest games come early. West Plains and Camdenton no telling after what happened last year. I would go

Webb
Camdenton
Ladue
West Plains

Does not appear to be a great year for Class 4.

Should be interesting to see how Joplin and Webb stack up against Carthage ...could see a 3 way tie for the COC

Don’t be such a homer.

My point is, Webb's opponents winning percentage last year was .465, that includes losses to Webb, and it is only the regular season.

Ladue's was .442,

Well when the home team has taken home the big trophy every other year for 30 years it ain’t a bad bet.

Besides it kind of reminds me of 92
You're missing the point. I get it, love your team, but don't discount what others have done because they aren't in SWMO.

I think Webb is great, and I am super impressed with what they have done, but that doesn't mean the teams they play are any better than another area just because they are around Webb or in the same conference.

Well since the only 4A teams I have seen are Webb and CJ I have to go with what I know. I know Webb played terrible against a decent 6A Joplin and almost won, Ladue hasn’t played anyone yet, and West Plains and Camdenton are a mystery after last years events

Terrible logic. Ladue has played SLUH a 6A and Ritnour 5A. By everyone’s own admission they have been down on CJ.

Sure Ritnour is bad, but SLUH is going to be ok to good.

But feel free to continue to let your own bias cloud any sort of real judgment.

Please put Webb 1, just realize there are other good football teams outside of your bubble.

Trinity ranked #4 at 0-2 loosing with a combined score of 57-6??? One team they lost to is 1-1. I understand they played 2 good programs but idk about being ranked there.

Now Im not from MO, but didnt the "A" get removed from football classifications?

I always see posts about how this team or that team doesn't play anybody. I wonder how much control a team has in this. In some conferences good competition is built in. If you are in a weak conference, you have to rely on your non-conference schedule. I'm not so sure schools from tough conferences have much incentive to play a good team from a weak conference.

Some schools don't have non conference games .... actually most in SWMO don't . Webb , Carthage , Lamar , MT Vernon etc ...all have none so their opponent winning percentage will never be over 500 bc they only play their conference games

Well thanks for your permission to have my own opinion

True. But everybody chooses their conference affiliation, if any. The quality of schedule shows in the long run. Teams that play a good schedule are better prepared for the post season. Teams that play a crap schedule may or may not be.

Correct. The Big 8, COC, Ozark Conference all have to deal with that.

Class 4 is like the Highlander..."there can be only one," from the top 5 because they are all on the same side of the state bracket. Shoot.

Harder question: who will emerge from the other side of the bracket and play in the title game?
