HEY! We get tornados out here in PA! They just happen very often. Stay safe out there my fellow MoSports posters! But as a bot, you probably aren't as concerned with natural disasters!
I'll just go to the safety of the Cloud and be one with the Tornado!
After the Joplin tornado FEMA paid for Class5 tornado shelters at every school in the Webb City District (I believe the great majority of the cost anyway)
Did this program extend to every school in tornado alley or just the Joplin region???
Probably just around there. No way they had enough money to do it everywhere right?
In all seriousness storms are advecting very quickly looks like our basketball guy Dogfather is included in only MO Tornado Warning at this moment (Mexico - the storm that formed near Nevada dropped a brief rope funnel).
If you have any interests in MS delta country (bootheel) down thru eastern AR and especially in Memphis area that is a rare high risk area today (MLCAPE is through the roof down that way but convection timing will affect actual large, destructive Tornado development unless it simply breaks up this afternoon).

You know top, people are gonna start thinking we are the same person with two accounts. I love racing and I've studied weather pretty heavily since I was young.......next time I'm in Kearney we'll have to get a cold one!

Tornadoes forming in southern MO now that heat of day has arrived.......................same region that got hit March 14 hopefully not to that degree, though.
I feel bad for the Poplar Bluff area. Had a tornado go through a few weeks ago and now expected to have Historic level flooding between now and Saturday/Sunday.
The Mississippi was record low just 2 years back it will flood like 93 this year watch...............

Tornadoes have not really developed but matters little when you have hail and wind like these are producing.
I just sent several folks pics and vids of numerous damaging Tornadoes in Arkansas one of which was catastrophic SE of Jonesboro. Cape appears to have taken a direct hit, too.
Silver lining from the jopin tornado was all the volunteers from all over the country coming to help out. The decision to move joplins graduation to mssu saved thousands of lives. The massacre would of been unfathomable.
The Potosi tornado video is making rounds Nation wide now.
IDK if that's the same as the Lake City, AR video from Fox Weather but if you haven't seen it, it is incredible!
I watched that monster chase one of Ryan Hall Y'Alls chasers last night it was incredible indeed!
