I have nothing to do with any of that. Take it up with the school board and the coaches involved.
I will say that it would help if the kids had a better attitude (on and off the court) and played tougher defense, which has been Glendale's weak spot in recent times.
I never understood the 2011-12 group playing poorly on purpose to make Williamson look bad instead of just winning the games for themselves.
The #1 problem at Glendale in the sport of boys basketball going back to 1963 has been an overall softness in big (post-season) games, NOT the coaching. It's on the players to perform on the court, not the fans, students, and parents in the stands.
Hopefully, this in-coming frosh group and Harrell/Ledgerwood in 2021-22 will make a run and I won't have to harp on these issues endlessly. However, all the city games this coming season will be turbo clock wins for the 'POO.
