The most frustrating part of this article was the line, "It’s one of the reasons why it’s become difficult for Mizzou’s main revenue sports to win at a high level. And when they do it feels like something of a surprise rather than the expectation."
How true. Mizzou has 2 large metros to pull from with no in state competition at the highest levels of the biggest sports, but seems we've got incompetent folks steering things. Probably a lot of social circle crossover with the dastardly lot over at MSHSAA! We need to use all these digital ticketing fees to build a strong athletic program!!

I have noticed a trend we seem to lose AD to lesser jobs...with that being said she does have deep ties to Arizona. Just wonder why we cannot get a somebody with deep ties to Mizzou to come in and be the AD.
That was an interesting and educational read. One can safely compare the BoC to a lot of small town school boards, if the article is close to factual. And I think it is.
