Could be, it said she was at PH when they went to the Final 4. I'm quite sure I can't remember what years that was. I have no idea, haven't been to Van Buren the last couple of years. So who is the new coach?
This very likely doesn’t mean anything but the Strafford MSHSAA site doesn’t list any coaches at all for Strafford. Pretty sure that info used to be on there.
The two assistants were (are?) Nancy Ward, previously the head coach at Richland before coming to Strafford a couple of yrs ago, and CJ August. I think Ward is the mother of the really good player coming up.
I'm gonna guess that if anyone leaves, it's because not many want to be around a head coach/daughter situation. In almost (there have been exceptions) every single case I've seen, the son or daughter of the coach is obviously favored.

I figure if the coaches are still the same they show up on the MSHSAA site, and a quick glance shows that to be true.
But there are also some schools with the same head coach at least who do not list them, so I think you are right. I didn't figure Larsen was going anywhere and that's why I said it "very likely" doesn't mean anything.

It definitely is not in as good of shape as it was, but if Larsen stays his daughters are good enough to keep them relevant. Now if they all leave then things maybe finished for now
That’ll be a nightmare if that happens.
It’s probably pretty unprecedented that a defending state championship team (or really any team) doesn’t know who their coach will be three weeks before school starts
Gary Greene will probably win that state title that has alluded him then tell the meddling sup to stick the job where the sun don’t shine
Mike Bell is not your normal superintendent. He was a very successful high school girls coach (crane, halfway, fair grove) prior to switching to football/admin. He knows the game. I'd like to hear both sides of this story before condemning a man that has been at the same school in various roles for over 2 decades.
No doubt he has had quite the career himself. And this is not some guy that has no understanding of things. But from what I can gather it seems that having a kid on the team has really changed him. It is an easy thing to let happen. I mean they won the state championship and it seems he was still not happy. But as always there are always more than one side to things.
Let’s not forget that Fair Grove may have to go through Strafford and possibly a Skyline team that returns a good core of players to even win districts.
Strafford best players are still there. Jones and Larson are both as good as it gets in swmo.

That skyline team may be the best of the bunch. Don't overlook them. Going to be fun to see who can survive in that group
