He discussed doing exactly what Obama told him to do in a way that made it more likely his son would be investigated, so no, not at all. They fired a prosecutor who wasn't investigating corruption involving his son and who wasn't investigating much of any corruption, which is why the US and the EU leaned on them hard to fire him.
