Sorry this so long to post, but here is where we went on Friday for day 2. Remember these are not just football fields anymore, but we are going to schools even if they don't have any fields at the school. Visit out Facebook page, Missouri Football Field.
Wheatland - no fields at the school but we did stop by Lucas Oil Track
Weaubleau - they have separate baseball and softball fields,
Humansville - they have separate baseball and softball fields, but were nice fields and sat next to each other.
Stockton - football and softball at old school, baseball field at new school
Greenfield - football field is not at the school, we did not see any fields at the school. I am sure that on a Friday home game the field is packed, but it's not one of the better places we have seen. One of the play clock needed repaired
Lockwood - football and baseball field, they may also play softball there. This is one of my favorite small town fields, not sure why, but just a neat little place. There was no press box, so not sure what they do.
Golden City - baseball field and they had what looked like an old football field, baseball field needed some work and looked like it had a lot of sand on it, but did have grass infield. Looked like at one time there was once a football field there.
Jasper - football field, and another neat place to watch football I am sure. Windsor plays Jasper this year, but it is in Windsor.
Carthage - football, field house and building a new indoor place. This place is awesome, including the school.
Joplin - WOW, what a school. This is by far the best looking high school we have ever seen. I got to go into the gym and it was very nice. The field where they play their games was really neat, older place but they were putting down new turf. They have a baseball field on campus but we did not make it over there, there was a game going on.
Seneca - that is down there, only saw a football field but nice place. Love the Indian.
Liberal - football & softball, football field was nice for a small school, had a five lane track, softball field needed some work and true DUGouts. I like the bus.

The press box @ Lockwood blew away in a storm a couple months ago, they're hoping to have it rebuilt by the start of season.

On these trips, do you all eat at the local joints in these small towns? I love going to those places. Listening to all the local chatter and often at times, great food.

We do sometimes eat in one of the towns, on these two trips we did not. When you visit Facebook please add comments to the site. We love hear from people.

Unfortunately here in Greenfield the field is in need of a serious upgrade. The field being lower than all the surrounding ground even a light sprinkle would destroy the field conditions. And I have heard fans from other school complain about the seating. But on Friday nights, the town represents well. We love our football.
