I talked to the MSHSAA director and he told me WC will be in class 2 next year .

If they don’t institute some type of cap on class 1 more teams will go 8-man or drop football. Either set a certain number of teams, set a certain school population cap, or set a rule that largest school in class 1 can’t be over double the size of the smallest school.

I thought they had some sort of double size rule for all classes starting next year.

The double size rule for some reason is not supposed to be applied to class 1.

I think they should have 10 classes so a lot more kids and coaches can feel good about themselves. Make more winners.
