Joe Arnold got North County Back in there after Mcvey got them out.

What will Licking have this year? I know NC lost at least 2 or 3 starters from last year. Agreed, Rolla will cruise through that tourney.
Licking returned almost everything. I think they lost their second leading scorer, but they should be a final four contender. I would not count them out by any means.

They will have to get past Strafford (if they stay class3) who should be loaded this year after getting the Humble girl from Sparta.

Any early season tournaments with solid fields? I know most the holiday tournaments are usually pretty good, but any in November or earlier in December?

Fatima is doing the Comet Classic early in the season I think. I don't know who all is in it, but I've heard Fatima, St. James, and Steelville so that's a respectable group. Sullivan does a good tournament in mid-December with Helias, St. James, Owensville, Salem, Steelville, and Borgia. I'm not sure who the eighth team is. The Fair Grove tournament usually has a few good teams like West Plains, Lebanon, and Logan-Rogersville. I'm not sure who's in the Ozark tournament but I assume some quality teams. It's always interesting to see if anyone can beat Licking in the Frisco tournament.

The CJ vs ELDO game isn't on the schedule anymore. Not sure why.

How is CJ in 4 tournaments? I thought you could only be in 3. Your only allowed 26 regular season games. They probably had to many games scheduled.

U can now play in any combination of 26 games. No tourney limitations.

If true they should have dropped McDonald County.

Is playing 26 games new this year? I was always thought 25 was the limit.

It was theoretically 27 because MSHSAA had the sliding scale with:

16 games + 3 tournaments (16 + 3 × 3 = 25)
18 games + 2 tournaments (18 + 2 × 3 = 24)
20 games + 1 tournament (20 + 1 × 3 = 24)

Tournaments were limited to 3 games unless it was a Christmas tournament (Pink & White, Neosho Holiday Classic, et cetera) or a conference tournament, however; playing 4 games in a conference tournament would have basically required a 7 seed or lower to advance to the finals. Therefore, I don't believe that any team actually managed to ever play in 27 contests during the regular season. This year, it appears that MSHSAA has dropped the sliding scale entirely for sports and has just put a set number of contests for each sport instead of the tournament/games (basketball), duals/meets (wrestling), head-to-head, tournaments (tennis). You end up with 26 for basketball so that teams can keep their contracts and then 25 for volleyball and soccer since you don't have holiday tournaments.
