All these threads about the semifinal games and no mention of Fort Osage... When you go to a Fort game you know that if nothing else, you are going to witness a smashmouth hard hitting game. Yesterday was no exception. Columbia Battle fought them tooth and nail for three quarters but Fort prevailed in the 4th quarter to pull away for the win. Both teams exuded class and good sportsmanship throughout the game. Best of luck to Fort Osage next weekend vs. Vianney.

So many think you can’t be a tough, smash mouth, hard-hitting team and still play a clean game. They think you have to hit hard and then tell your opponent how hard they just got hit. Congratulations to both teams and thank you for posting such “good news.” Should just be “news,” but not these days.

Should have figured Fort O was going back to the title game: Since 2009 they do this every three years. Very, very happy for them they had a very rough regular season. Perseverance pays!

They finally got healthy... although they are not 100%.

Yep. Still playing without at least 1 starting lineman and their #1 wr.

Just a bunch of tough kids who are coached up and got healthy enough at the right time of the year.

Very happy for Coach Bult, his staff and players.

I'm from KC... Don't know any thing about Vianney other than what I read on here etc. From all of that, I would say that they are a top drawer class 5 program.

I think they have two running backs with 1500+ yards...one of which has verballed to Notre Dame. Gonna be tough but Fort has been pretty good against the run for the most part.

Both running backs looked tough vs. Carthage yesterday. Williams, the Notre Dame commit, is a speedster with lots of moves and is tough to get a hand on. He also lined up a lot in the slot and as a receiver. The other back runs it right up the middle and is a power back. Both backs destroyed Carthage yesterday. Williams also threw for a touchdown yesterday and got a pick 6. He definitely lived up to the hype of a Notre Dame commit.
