I run a Christian sports equipment ministry called Eternal Pastime. We collect new/used sports equipment and send it across the US and the world to kids who can't afford to buy equipment. I'm a retired baseball coach so our main emphasis has been baseball, but we send a lot of soccer equipment too. Since 1999, we have been able to send equipment to over 45 different countries.
For the last several years EP has been taking baseball players on sports mission trips to Cuba. As our work there has expanded, God has opened the door for my wife and I to lead a volleyball trip to Cuba in the summer of 2019. We are looking to gather donations of shoes, uniforms, balls, and nets to take with us. I ask that when you purge your storeroom of old equipment, consider donating usable stuff to Eternal Pastime.
