Joplin’s losses to WC and Carthage look a little better each week. All three coast through district playoffs to win their respective championships in classes 4, 5, & 6. I think WC spanks Camdenton next week and Carthage does the same to the Yellowjackets, who by the way, only beat Willard by 13 and Willard only had 3 COC wins. If Joplin’s season ends next week in the Class 6 final 4, it is still a fantastic year!

I knew Joplin’s Davis had a Hyuuuuge night last night but I see in the stats he had 333 yards and 6 TDs. That’s worthy of a Dick Enberg “Oh My!”

Lebanon is a good football team and I think they would have gone 6-3 this year had they been in the COC. Their offense relies on deception to score with their ground and pound attack. They run the same offense as Ozark with the size and physicality of Neosho. They are big and strong but Carthage is much, much faster.

If the 5 westernmost COC teams had their own conference, they would now be a combined 33-1 (Ozark over CJ) in out of conference games.

it's amazing to watch,hes not a speedster but he gets his yards. one or two guys rarely tackles him.

On one of his TD runs, there were 3 Pioneers in front of him at about the 5. None of them looked too interested in receiving what Davis was giving and he basically went in untouched.
