Its a weird year for sure but its the time of year again when jobs start to open up. Please post a source with news of an opening ( I don't need a link but say via twitter or via the school employment page etc.). Speculation is fine but let people know it is speculation and not concrete. Remember these are men with families who work for pennies on the dollar to help kids so bashing them is not necessary. At some point the site moderator will make there own version of the list but until then I will try to keep it up to date and yes 8-man jobs count as well

I work with a guy who has a nephew who plays at Raytown South High School and he told me the coach told the players that he is stepping away from coaching. Never know with stories like these, but this guy has never been wrong with what he's told me before.

Well he probably has his 30 in or he may be moving to admin to boost his retirement or he may be coaching in Kansas next year while drawing MO retirement. That seems to be a popular career path for MO coaches near the KS line. Anyway, good man good coach.

He was not fired at school before the game. He was not even at school Friday or Thursday for that matter. He was put on leave pending an investigation.

Wow. Knob is a hard play to have success and Knob seemed to be getting better these last few seasons. Wonder what happened

Rich Johnson is a good coach and had them going in a really good direction. But from what I know he hasn't been the head coach from really early on in the season, I'm not even sure he coached in any of the games this year. As one of my coaching friends who knows him once told me, he's a good coach but he had a bit of a drinking problem, which got him into trouble at previous jobs. Not saying that's what happened here, but it could be based on what has happened before.

It was Coach Weik’s decision. Wanted to know what if felt like to teach a few years without coaching year round. You have-it right though, great guy and coach!
