Kearney, MO
1: Wide, wide open. Any of the four semifinalists could win this one. Pure guess is Jackson will.

2: Wash rinse repeat D1. Anybody's guess who reps these first two districts in the Final Four.

3: DeSmet, defending C5 champs, and Chaminade on a MAJOR collision course. The winner of this final should make the C6 final.

4: Wentzville Timberland should hold serve here but not sure how they beat the aforementioned coming D3 winner in the Quarters.

5: Nixa and Springfield Kickapoo on (annual event) another major collision course. The district final will be yet another classic between these two SWMO superpowers.

6: Rockhurst got the road paved for them tonight. Don't be deceived by that 30 pt. Oak Park loss.

7: All three CoMo squads prevailed but GV did give host Rock Bridge a huge 4 OT scare. Blue Springs South is very up and down flat out no way to handicap them beyond I suspect they struggle with the aforementioned Bruins who got their "get out of jail free" card tonight. Battle would remain my ever so slight favorite.

8: No surprises. Oak Park is really playing well of late not sure how any of the others handles them BUT there is that NKCSD rivalry factor. Does another Staley-OP classic loom in this one's final?

District 6 is crazy
Upset city agree! Some good ones on tap tonight but my real focus is MONDAY. Likely gonna head up the street for the C5 D8 final regardless who advances tonight but tempted to see D7 if Raytown and SCA advance. C6 D6 mentioned here should be all Rock, D7 looks to be CoMo and D8 all Oak Park especially given how they now look (an absolute machine).

Finals update:

1: Tossup delivered as SLUH wins by 1 and Seckman in OT. Heaven knows who wins this one.

2: Marquette looks good to take this one now. Won by double digits when they and Lafayette met in then reg season.

3: Both have predictably rolled now collide after splitting in the regular season. My one concern with Chaminade is has the murderous schedule worn on them if a bit? Regardless this should be a very high level, exciting one with the winner in solid position to make the C6 final.

4: Wentzville Timberland looks likely to win this one by double digits.

5: Best public school BB rivalry in all MO happens yet again! Nixa won the reg season and host this one. Absolute must see game............

6: Talk about road paving Rock looks extreme likely to take this one. In saying that NICE run RP.

7: Up and down Blue Springs South returns to CoMo hoping to keep a run back to the Zou going vs. perennial power Battle who I do like in this one.

8: No Staley run this year as rival NKC took them down last night now faces the highly improbable task of finding a way to stop THE KC metro machine Oak Park on the road. Northmen should rock and roll here.

1: SLUH wins setting up a very, very unlikely Quarter.

2: Lafayette (Wildwood) wins! Goes to show what I "know". Yeah that same guy who drones on and on during FB season about blowout rematches LOL.

3: Chaminade, my favorite to see Oak Park in an epic final, survives in 2 OT.

4: Wash, rinse, repeat tophat's bad STL metro picks as FZ North, who lost twice to Timberland by double digits, pulls this one off! I so suck at blowout rematch stuff.............

5: As posted here Nixa wins on a miracle shot at the buzzer can only imagine how that gym and town is tonight! Can they parlay this into a huge State run? Would never bet against them pulling that off.

6: Road paved indeed as Rockhurst rolls. Wish I could clone myself and drive down to Nixa for their next one!

7: Hardest team to figure in C6 Blue Springs South wins! I think I just found my Friday destination as they host Oak Park (see D8).

8: Northmen win by just 7 over rival NKC (another stellar year for the whole district) now stay in town for the Quarterfinal.
