So you're saying Lamar won't forfeit?Hopefully with all their D-1 talent and hard work they can figure out how to beat a small town class 2 program that builds from the bottom up with teamwork and discipline this year

So you’re saying the coach brought them there? When did that coach start at Trinity again? They all entered Trinity as freshmen. I don't know what grade levels kids enter high school where YOU'RE from but in this part of the state kids change schools entering the 9th grade. Given that they have the same coach and match one another's efforts, it's no coincidence that they've been recognized for their talents and work. You sound jealous.
Nice try, though.

Even though I guarantee Lamar fanboys will cry when Trinity or Lutheran North take their place on the throne.
Clearly all these teams forfeiting to Trinity is a form of protest against Trinity’s conduct

And when did the current coach start there and had he coached these boys before?I'm saying the kids you're crying about entered school in the 9th grade ... just like freshmen at every other school in the country ... and they were developed in the program. Just like the kids from Lamar that you all sing songs about.
If it's a protest, then it's a cowardly one because the teams ducking them are crying injured instead of being honest.
STAMP it?
And when did the current coach start there and had he coached these boys before?
Wherever it happens, it should be frowned upon (ESPECIALLY when “scholarships” or “aide” are provided to those students for attending like occurs at many private schools...)I have no idea. Why don't you tell us? I DO know that Coach Mauk at Glendale had his former QB move from Ohio to the middle of Missourah to keep playing for him. Are you suggesting something like that happened at Trinity? That parents chose to send their kids to a school as freshmen because they wanted them to play for a specific coach? Because I wasn't aware that only happened in North St. Louis County. I also missed the part of the rule book that says it's illegal.
Oh great! He is posting on other thread and not his own! Soon, he'll be taking over threads!!Come on. eat up the clock and play some D. ya mite get on the score board,
They could have run the coach Mike Maguire 'see how many defensive tackles we can put out of the game' offense'.
Keep it close, and go home. Play the game.
Unless its a safety issue
EVERY transfer is automatically ineligible in Missouri. The only way a kid can get an exception to play immediately and not have to sit a year is to appeal to MSHSAA and provide documentation that proves they qualify to play immediately. In other words, every family is treated as though they're transferring for athletic reasons unless they prove otherwise. With a spotlight on them and so many people crying about how unfair it is to change schools, do you think MSHSAA is LESS critical of transfers to a school that gets that much attention?
For the record, families transfer all the time and not just to Trinity.

Buy I guess Trinity, it’s faculty, students, and alum should be happy that their money bought them a runner up trophy last year
Did they change the way they do it a few years back on transfers?
Use to be school the student transferring out of would check a box on form saying school believes student transferring for athletic reasons would make him ineligible for 1 year.
Believe someone last year posted Trinity's roster with kids hometowns and alot were from same school district Hazelwood. Same place the current Trinity coach was coaching.
Yes. If Lamar loses to Trinity or Lutheran North, hillbillies will stomp on their hats, smash their jugs of moonshine on the ground and divorce their 1st cousins in protest.
So, since you're posting the typical St Louis mindset, if Lamar wins, they'll block traffic on I-44 and burn down the local Cum-n-Go?
Not suggesting that at all. Public or private, there shouldn't be any undue influence (I think they call it), and if so, there are repercussions. Fact is, private schools have a different set of guidelines in their enrollment, it seems like at some places it is getting more and more prevalent, and some folks are getting tired of it.Kids transfer into public schools, too. Public schools in Missouri have residency requirements to attend them. Are you suggesting that when a family moves from Kirkwood to Columbia that their kid should be eligible immediately if they go to Hickman but ineligible if they enroll their kid into Tolton?
The one they couldn’t afford, apparently (same trophy all teams that lose to Trinity this year will missout on)What trophy did YOUR kids miss out on?
One thing is a safe bet. If Trinity or LN beats Lamar you can count on every single member of Lamar's team lining up and shaking hands and congratulate them. That's a safe bet.

yep,,,,,,,,,,first loser trophy shouldn't even be awardedIt's impressive how well you cry and type at the same time. Boo hoo. Only one team in each Class won their last game of the season. By your logic, every other team should feel disgraced. What trophy did YOUR kids miss out on?

13-14 year olds freshmen playing against maybe 18-19 old seniors

MSHSAA would disagree with you AND the people the "liked" your comment. If you know high school sports in Missouri then you know that MSHSAA isn't ANYONE'S friend. So, if your excuse is that somehow the fix is in and that Trinity and LN are receiving preferential treatment, then you're just making up fantasies. The rules are being followed and I doubt any two teams in Missouri get scrutinized my MSHSAA more than these two. There are people that believe the Earth isn't round and that we didn't land on the moon, too. Believe what you want. Life extends beyond high school football for these kids and it won't be the last time someone cries because they can't compete.
That's a safe bet.
Two things....there are no Kum N Go's in St. Louis - thank goodness. It's an Iowa (and Joplin oddly) thing.
And, secondly, Trinity H.S. is not located in Hazelwood. It's several miles east in Spanish Lake.
I guess since the game would be in Columbia, it should be changed to blocking I-70 and burning a Quiktrip.
Trinity is IN Hazelwood. Is it uncommon for parents to choose a school in their community? BTW ... that's pretty creepy to be posting families addresses online.
Not addresses. cities. not the city of Hazelwood but Florissant I think
That is funny. We actually do have a significant Amish population here, but I doubt they keep up with Lamar football. Would you settle for deer chilli? You folks in STL are probably in morning since your wine prices are going up due to all the vineyard fires in CA. We are good Busch Lite pricing should remain the same. It's unfortunate that Lamar won't meet Trinity or Lutheran North in Columbia in the Championship Game this year. We could bring you St. Paul Sandwiches and you could bring us a home cooked Amish meal.
