NW Class 1 teams will see some movement in the polls....both directions.

Leeton got beat pretty soundly by Class 2 power Wellington-Napoleon.

North Andrew suffered two losses.... #1 Stanberry and underdog King City.

Winston and Mercer...play in their conference championship.

Stanberry squares off with Rock Port....should be a Bulldog victory.

I will be at the Holiday Hoops most of the day tomorrow and actually have clock duty at 4:00. Then have clock for the first four games on Monday. Looking forward to watching some different teams.

You kind of predicted that Leeton loss to Well Nap. Good scouting report or Nostradamus?

Don't know about him, but I had thought that WN would win by about 20, not 44. The only thing I had to go by was strength of schedule and one common connection. Leeton beat Sweet Springs by 8, St. Paul beat Sweet Springs by 15, and WelNap beat St. Paul by 30, that was really the only connection they had. Also strength of schedule. WN wins over Lawson, Odessa, St. Paul, and Santa Fe were more impressive than some of the wins Leeton had. But that's not anyone's fault, you can't blame a team for who they play, just results.

Leeton should rebound, like they did last year after the loss to WN and the Tigers have some speed bumps ahead, namely the MRVC-I-70 Conference tournament, a big match up with Hardin Central, and probably Santa Fe a couple more times.
