Trying to verify if what I've heard is true that Jackson has cancelled their game tonight due to the STUPID AND I MEAN STUPID social media trend going around today of the school violence and threats nationwide?

Any other games getting cancelled?

Jackson will move their game to Edwardsville, IL on Saturday. It was supposed to be a home game.

Jackson High School is closed today in an “abundance of caution” to investigate a potential threat that was received late last night that was circulating through social media, which could involves “school violence.”The Edwardsville Tigers were scheduled to play the Jackson Indians at the Pit in Jackson tonight at 7:00 PM. The game has now been postponed to tomorrow night and is set to played at Edwardsville High School at 6:00 PM.

Yes its cancelled !
Update: All home sporting contests that were scheduled for today, Friday, September 13, 2024, will be canceled or postponed due to an investigation of a possible threat against the school.


No practices will be held on campus at this time.


All home sporting contests scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 2024, will also be canceled.

My sister just sent me social media about a threat right here in KMO yesterday and the ARREST. The Police Chief's statements could not have been more spot on. I just hope and pray this is very short term and these arrests will serve as a deterrent.
