Last I checked, Missouri wasn't supporting abortions, LGBT or weed with my tax dollars.

Like veer says, typical liberal who only cares if money is spent on their priorities.

Not that the year is that important. Just so I don't get called out on a technicality youngster, at some point in history, the government decided to make it legal to steal my money. That should cover it.

there has never been a material society that didn't have some sort of taxation. Societies require order that can only be achieved through a shared social system. That system has a cost.

Federal law is still Law of the Land. You can support state and local all you want, end of the day if the federal government says "Jump" through legislation, the states have to say "How high, sir."

not totally true, think of the reason Medicaid expansion isn't the law of the land everywhere, they can't compel states to do whatever they want when the states have clearly delineated powers

If you want to keep thinking that State Government doesn't matter then I'm good with that. In the meantime the Conservative Right is taking over your state government .
