It does sound like Kearney lost a big game over the weekend. Heated fan base. Frustrated with the head coach. Those are perfect conditions for an angry mob to dump garbage on his lawn. Perhaps some other alleged vandalism.
If you've ever seen/met Minnick you would figure out quickly how poorly that would go. They lost to the better team on that given day congrats to them (but not that awful BP Compete).
All the little things I saw and commented on whether privately or here came up to bite them in a very close game. It happens. Absolutely nothing but appreciation (as posted when I got home Saturday) for what Minnick, his staff and these great kids accomplished and guess what the future is BRIGHT no matter what happens this offseason.
For every single fan that may be down on the HC etc. I guarantee you there are 500 here who are not one bit. Always remember the dice roll starting ANY Sophomore QB entails (see Rocco Marriott last year)..................and I have nothing but praise for that young man just wait and see what happens the next 2 years.
Never have I ever been in Kearney before. Much less met the head coach. But I PROMISE you that if the townsfolk and booster club get angry enough, ANY house in Kearney could be victim to vandalism!

Got at least 2 ex FB guys on the board guarantee they are extremely happy with how things are going. Cannot ever promise State titles every year just be in the mix. Had Kearney lost in one of the prior rounds THEN this would be a different convo.
Wonder what Joey will do with those state title T-shirts he had printed up already.....
