That’s exactly what I am saying. They’ve had very close games against teams worse than Savannah and warrensburg.
Weather is going to factor. Still waiting to see what we get in the way of snow. That being said Saturday will be child's play compared to other November games I've attended especially Kearney's very first playoff at Center in 1986. I am not sure 100 folks attended but 90 percent of who was there drove down from the ole hometown and braved it (5 F with a Wind Chill well below zero).
It's really strange that a Kearney fan takes the time to run the Smithville Barstool X account.
I would have to disagree. I have watched LN over the last few years and they have gotten more disciplined with the new head coach. It is tough being a kid period today no matter where you come from. Hats off to Kearney and LN on a great game. X is all fun and games on both sides. The LN head coach was very complimentary on X toward Kearney. Just wish MSHSAA would figure it out how to make that the championship game like the BO and Seneca game is.
This aged a whole lot better than many pre-game posts.......................sorry to admit.
I’d like to echo this and also ask for a second helping of crow, because not only was LN better than I thought they’d be, they also conducted themselves admirably throughout (I watched the student broadcast, so there’s always a possibility their camera work missed something, but I saw no unsportsmanlike conduct from LN, flagged or unflagged)…
LN came here with great focus, energy and discipline. Amazing what "getting out of jail" i.e. avoiding the shocking upset does for a top tier team the next game!
