I think that was the ultimatum date the Big 8/COC/OC gave their respective members as a deadline for being In or out.
It would seem the 6 “defectors” have done that, And I haven’t heard of any more those those.
Now just a waiting game for what the “new conference” will be called etc….

A new high school football conference in the Ozarks will begin competition next fall.

When I was in high school, two district employees got caught doing some "extra curricular" activities in the dark room at the high school. Smart location choice, IMO. Turn on the sign that indicates film is being developed and good chance that door never opens.
