Will they ever get rid of the 2 class minimum for private school bump ups? If a private school that should be class 2 wins class 4, why shouldn't they bump to class 5?

Maybe it's the "valle rule"

They shouldn’t. Even a half attempt to change something, is better than nothing. The better solution is to make public and private classifications. Let them recruit their hearts out. But it won’t happen. So this is better than nothing. Whenever a new coach comes to a school in STL who’s not that good, kids will folllow and that school will fall off. ST Mary’s will have that happen sooner then later, same with LSC.

Agreed. The private schools have too many 'friends' in Jeff City so nothing drastic will happen.

Chaotic Fanatic I need your help. I am looking at my out of region games of the week and want SCMO in the mix. Is Mountain View Liberty vs. Mountain Grove a good one? I already have a "target" Ozarks Conference game but want to see how that league plays out (Lebanon, WP, Camdenton). Appreciate it in advance!

at this point, it’s hard to say whether or not it would be a good game. One of Liberty’s 2 wins are over Agape so it’s kind of hard to get a gauge on them at this point,
I can say this though, given that Thayer is way down from their norm, and Ava lost their stud, the Liberty vs Grove game is a pretty sure bet to decide the SCA conference crown and these teams usually get up for each other and have had some really good battles in the last 10-15 years.

Hope that helps.

I can't believe Agape is still open and fielding a team.
Do you let your varsity play the first series of each half and then it's JV time?
Tough situation.

I don't know either. The politicians don't send their kids to public schools.

Especially the party in power. They are about as anti-public school as it gets.

Liberals talk a good game. But when it comes down to it, the private schools are filled with kids from Liberal homes, at least in the Kansas City metro area. They want to live in the trendy, central areas of the city, of course to be fashionable-- and be good virtue signaling neighbors in a quasi-urban setting. Public school for them? Not happening.

I am meticulously avoiding politics this year but still do remember that Rock guy who tried to lecture me, who actually lived in Midtown/Westport in the 90s and hung in the city for two plus decades, about the IL and inner city kids. Funny stuff...........

That is true in the KC metro for sure. Brookside is notorious for that. KCMO public schools are pretty bad though.

I went to school with a gal that sends her kids to Barstow from Brookside.

Those Rock guys sure disappeared fast.

And CEO still owes me 100 bucks from our bet I won in Nov. 2011.

'Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.' WFB

CBC loses to an out of state Class 1 (Equivalent of Missouri Class 4) public school by 45 and falls 1 spot to #2 in Class 6? 🤨

Get a comfortable lead. Then just run it in.............A gape
