And the football gods give us a great one this week:

Figures. This game really reminds me of the Ampipe-Walnut Heights game back in '93. Nixa has that blue-collar, hard working feel to it, while Webb City is like those rich pricks in Walnut Heights. For Nixa's sake, I hope it doesnt start raining. Is Nixa's starting running back injured??

LOL what the hell, have you ever been to Nixa or Webb...OMG I am still laughing so hard on this analogy. Have you been at the bar drinking to much over your divorce?
Nixa is about as blue collar as those that work on Wall street! Talk about rich pricks! And not sure how you can get anymore blue collar than Webb for gosh sakes the football field is built over a lead mine.

Oh calm down!! Talk that will QUICKLY find yourself having a nice little "chat" with me!! How about Webb being the perennial champ?? Nixa finally having a good season, outside chance to knock off a team thats been dominating them? Webb with amazing facilities? NICE TRY BOZO!!!

Nixa will be the reason Nordstrom will build a store in South Springfield. I thought Webb was on a ZINC mine?

“ There, in 1873, Webb discovered lead while plowing.[7] With the assistance of W.A. Daugherty, he sank the first pump-shaft in 1874. In 1876, the Center Creek Mining Company leased the land and began operations. Some 20 years later, 700 mines were located within the limits of Webb City and adjacent Carterville, and the district ranked first in the production of zinc ore.”

Yeah, I've heard plenty of enough things about Webb City to think that they'll lay an egg to these guys at home. I want Nixa to win but 12 sounds like a stretch. We have a classic on the way
First exposure to Webb for this great new Nixa HC. Agree this one will be very close. Cannot wait to tune in Friday!

It's interesting that David White, Blue Springs (Ridgeland), and John Perry, Nixa (Pearl) came to Missouri from Jackson suburbs that are about 15-20 minutes apart the same year.

Wouldn’t think that’s an area people want to leave. Idk about Pearl, but Ridgeland is SUPER nice. Great schools too. Honestly, one of the areas we have pegged for retirement location.

Documentary!? Ummm, thats a MOVIE good sir. You're clearly not Honorary Doc Guy material yet.
Nixa is debatable as like you said in the comics it is St Charles but in either the first Or second doc They do mention Nixa.
BTW I have his first appearance in a comic book 🤗

My TV has it listed locally on NBC, Channel 16. I'll tape it and watch it when I get home from the Lamar game.

Heard this story before: Webb is not as good as past years, this great team coming in Friday night (insert Nixa here) is going to get them this time for sure, Webb plays with a chip on their shoulder, Webb pulls off the win, great team leaves Webb disappointed. With the exception of 2003 Kearney semifinal Webb always has a better than good chance to win at home. Webb has to play clean game on offense and.be physical both sides, but I like the underdog in this one. Oh wait cal preps says Nixa by 12 neutral site, the computer is never wrong, right? Except for when it is wrong repeatedly. The COVID sized crowd will take a little edge off home field, but it’s still Cardinal stadium, it’s still Nixa. Maybe if it were in Nixa and the coach sends in the kicker on 4th and goal for the win, but not this time.

Our corporate HQ and R&D Labs are in Pearl. VERY nice area, too. I've stated more than once to my supervisor (based in Jackson) I'd be very interested in relocating there.

It is just like Rockhurst six years ago. Nixa's new HC will get his first exposure to Webb's rushing O in particular. It seems simple to defend but is the opposite and it crosses up many a D coordinator. The Eagles future is very, very bright but I expect them to lose this one outright.

Ah yes. Marvel Spotlight Vol. 2, issues 6 and 7. I actually have all of Vol. 2. Issues 6 and 7 are the only ones of value though. Lol. Good issues to have. I recently picked up a steal at an antique mall. Found an Amazing Spiderman 101 that was WAY underpriced

I am at a loss for words here. I wanna scream "Nerds!!" but I feel that isnt strong enough.

How about one of you idiots provide a link to your “documentary“ so we can expose it for what it is. A mindless, mediocre movie featuring non athletic buffoons posing as football players.
Stef is 5’4 and you expect us to believe he is getting a full ride to Cal Poly to play LBer???

That’s about as believable as little Leo DiCaprio beating up two big thugs in The Departed. Give it up.
WHOA!! Easy there, bozo. Clearly, you have NEVER seen the doc Stef and I star in. Stef went to Cal Poly to play CORNERBACK! Who has ever heard of 5'10 white CB in the NFL? Meanwhile I'm not some mindless, non-athletic buffoon posing as a football player. I DID play college ball!!!
