Had never heard of the guy since I have too much going on to follow college ball too closely but he was second only to Jeanty in forced missed tackles (is that not the same as Broken Tackles I guess) which means he must be pretty impressive.

The Sun Belt's leading rusher had 1,351 yards and 1,024 came after contact. Nate Noel had 804 rushing yards and 409 of that was after contact. Marcus Carroll had 578 yards and 315 were after contact.

Carroll and Noel combined for 1,382 rushing yards just 31 more than Hardy.

He had offers from the portal from many p4 schools. He had just visited Ole Miss i believe.

Drinkwitz in an interview mentioned that the portal can be used to trade production for potential. And when you compare the freshman season for both Lacey and Hardy he did upgrade in production. The next 3 years will be interesting to see how it plays out between the 2.

It seems like no matter what moves they make, what recruits they bring in, they will be a once a decade playoff team.

I mean there are only 12 in the country that make it so that's honestly not bad if your name isn't one of those blue blood schools.

Being in the SEC is both a blessing and a curse now that the playoffs are a thing. SMU, Indiana, Boise St, and Arizona St. aren't anywhere near blue blood status. But they're in. And I doubt many seriously think they're any better than the 4th-9th place SEC teams. That was the SEC logjam with all the 5-3 teams.

Just cut regular season games back to 7 or 8 and start a playoff like MSHSAA does!

Yea pretty much a dumbass statement. They only lost to ranked teams on the road. TAM was definitely a beatdown. Cook was out with bama and miz had the lead with a minute left vs SC. Only 6 teams in the last 2 years have 20 wins. There's several teams in the playoffs that wouldn't be there with mizzous schedule.

The most Mizzou statement ever. Got absolutely boat raced in two games and “almost” beat another. Cool. Best win? Like actual win. Where they had more points than the other team. Let’s hear the spin doctor on this.

4-8 with losses to vandy and auburn. At home.
Get outtta heeeerreeeeee hater

And two years ago they were on different levels as well. It changes quickly.
2 years ago when they had to vacate all wins? They squeaked by Mizzou by a TD at home?

2019 8-5
2020 5-6
2021 0-12
2022 7-6
2023 7-6
2024 4-8

Hell mizzou last year did something no UK team has done since 1950. Won 11 games.

Oof

Yes, those yrs prior. Same level. And they probably will be again soon. Drinks about to go into a season w/o a QB. I can tell you how that will turn out.

I noticed you glossed over that best win question. Wonder why?

I’m not trying to prove anything about this yrs UK team. They were awful. Managed to beat Ole Miss in Oxford and took a dump the rest of the season.

Imma guess that question will still go unanswered. Or some other true son will drop in with a list of almost and close calls. Maybe someone will surprise me and answer legitimately.

Well we didn't lose to Auburn and Vandy.

OU? lol!
Nobody was comparing this yrs teams. Except you and other true sons looking to validate a season where your team didn’t meet expectations. But hey, you’re bowl bound. Drinks Tshirt told me so. Congrats.

My bad. Missed where you answered that. Well done. Yes, OU. Survived the gauntlet. 🙄

Best win was Vandy, the team that beat Bama. Next best win would be OU AFTER they got all their horses back and one week before they beat Bama by 3 scores, and ruined their playoff dreams. Now go eat a turnbuckle you disgusting ANIMAL.

My follow up question would be how many teams won more games than us AND had more "quality wins" as according to your ol knucklehead?

Blind resume between us and Texas, who generated more "quality wins"

All their horses back? OU was nowhere near full strength against Mizzou. But regardless it would be one of the top wins of the season for the Tigers.

Here are some facts. Mizzou had the 14th “best” SOS in the SEC. Went into the season with playoff aspirations. Finished 5-3 in the SEC with, previously mentioned, the 14th best SOS. They got boatraced by two of the three teams that were any good. Lost a close one to the other. Drink wore a “Bowl Bound” tshirt. Successful season, by Mizzou standards.

not saying Mizzou was at full strength at all (certainly closer than OU) and as I did at the time, give them credit, they won the game... but the reply was to the guy saying that OU was at full strength. They were nowhere near.

Here are some facts for ya! Last night I bought one of my all time favorite brews. Absence of Light by 4 Hands Brewing. Absolutely epic stout. I also picked up Candy Cane nitro stout by Left Hand Brewing. Looking forward to trying it. Will report back

Love Absence of Light. If you every in the Festus area, it has restaurant/brewery called Main and Mill. If you like Absence of Light you will like their Lil Jifforia.

A few years ago, Left Hand made a stout called Fat Elvis. It was Abscence of Light mixed with a banana bread stout. Absolutely amazing. Haven't ever seen it since at my local stores.

Ahem

Looks like Mizzou had higher SOS than Oregon, Tenn, Clemson , ND and Indiana.

Does that mean those teams aren't deserving?

I recall in 2012 when Mizzou went 5-7 vs the toughest schedule in college football and you weren't having any of that talk.

Weird huh?

Speaking of successful seasons for a program, UK hasn't finished ranked in the top 10 since 1950. Mizzou has done that 6 times since then.

Including last year.

Poor blue.

The cfp playoffs were posed to start last year but the pac 12 wasn't on board yet. Mizzou would of played in it,ranked 9th i believe.
