Doesn’t look like there were a lot of “local” teams in this tourney! Thought teams like St. James? Licking? Salem? used to be in it years ago? Thought St. James usually had a good boys program to be in this, are they not as good anymore? Or just don’t want to play over the break? Maybe they already had a full schedule and couldn’t play in it?

Yes, those teams dropped out over the years as they brought in bigger school teams. It used to be 4 local and then 4 out of area and they would match up games. Enjoyed those games as the crowds were larger throughout the day and not just when Rolla plays. We also have the girls tourney at the same time so it fills out those 3 days using Missouri S&T gym as well.

I have zero bias, and I can tell you he’s one heckuva player. Young man has some game for sure.
26-5 end of 1st Q, 46-16 at the half. Ran into a buzzsaw tonight. He’d be the only guy on that roster in Poo’s 10-man rotation.
Dude, this Poo team is so good. They execute extremely well and guard your butt off. Not the star power of the last couple, but man, they are a complete team.
That was impressive… hated to have it happen to us. But they were a big match up problem for us and started getting all their points in the paint and then moved to open jumpers in the 2nd half.
We struggled to get good looks due to their length and ability to protect the paint they could extend the D.
