Again I will never pick against Lamar but I did see Lutheran North.
They played number 1 ranked class 2 school in Indiana won 39 to 21
Like all Lutheran North teams they make mistakes but oh my the team
speed is off the charts. Their lineman are huge strong and quick. Perkins
number 3 ranked player in missouri and 97th in nation is 6'4 275 runs a
4.6 has 41 offers , he was incredible Mater Dae a power in Indiana had 14 yards
rushing. They had a couple all state lineman that had no chance against perkins.
Their pass coverage is their biggest weakness. On offense they rushed for 290 yards
One back is going to Southeast Missouri and the other to IL. The third back is only a Junior
Their receivers are all fast and the transfer from Vashon got good size. I saw Trinty at
Jamboree I see no way they beat North unless North which they can makes a lot of

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio may order the removal of the statue of Christopher Columbus in Manhattan's Columbus Circle.

The statue, which is over 100 years old, is one of the city artifacts currently under review in an effort to remove "symbols of hate." De Blasio, a Democrat who is running for re-election this November, ordered the review after the violent confrontations between white supremacists and counter-protesters in Virginia earlier this month.

De Blasio said the statue would be subject to the review. "We have to look at everything here," de Blasio said during Wednesday night's Democratic mayor debate.

City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, an ally of de Blasio and fellow Democrat, has called for the statue of Columbus to come down.

"I will wait for the commission, as I said Christopher Columbus is a controversial figure to many of us particularly in the Caribbean and I think that that has to be looked at, when you have to look at history we have to look at it thoroughly and clearly," she said on Monday.

Stl high sports had huge article on Trinity today as they are the number 1 ranked
small school in st. louis area. Trinity coach said Lamar beat them up his
kids have never been hit that hard. He said they know the only way to have a chance
against Lamar is to pound weights and said they have dedicated their selves since dec.
getting stronger. Their QB who with out a doubt is the best QB in St. Louis has 47 div.
1 offers I know Clemson just offered him. They have 2 linemen with over 25 d 1 overs
a piece. They have added a wide receiver who runs a 4.4. BUT I thought they had enough last
year so I know they will be very talented but strength and coaching keeps them from title. Plus
Lutheran North is in their district and they have 5 div. 1 kids who already signed. And they have added a wide receiver from Vashon who had 880 yards in receptions last year and runs a 4.2 and
they added running back from Hazelwood West who rushed for 1450 yards last year in a 5A
school and has a scholarship to IL. So when they play each other their will be as many as 10 div 1
signees in the game. BUT who ever win that district Lamar will beat them.

If you have a promising young athlete that shows potential, but is one of the youngest in their grade (May to August birthday,) would consider holding them back in 8th grade just for sports? Why? Why not?
