Tonight's Class 4 District 7 win was number 650 in program history. Harrisonville started playing football in 1906 and 1907 before suspending the program. They reinstated the football program in 1920, and have played every season since then.

For the experts in Northeast MO, who makes it out of District 5? Should be a dogfight based on records, and the champ would be the odds-on favorite to make the championship game from the Left Side of the bracket.

District 7 will be as well, and the outcome there will go a long way toward determining the State Champ in class 4 (i.e. the location of the semifinal game on the right half of the bracket, STL or KC).

Martan Kilcoyne, on the great TMA, mentioned this morning he was talking with the Hazelwood East Coach this season about coming out to do a feature. He pulled up, principal told him he wasn't allowed to be there. Coach said that they had to get approval from the A.D. and had to get permission from the Super to come out. He wanted to call, email him on the spot but the principal said no so Martan left and didn't get to cover the team. To me, that sounds incredibly dumb to tell the local tv station that you don't want your kids showcased. Has this been a problem anywhere else?

Moving to St. Joe for at least 3 years next year. I wouldn't mind a quad rotation with SEMO, Truman St, and Missouri St kinda like what Mississippi now does with North (Ole Miss/Miss St) and South (Southern Miss). Otherwise this is too far from center to lock in for 3 years while Faurot is renovated.

Seen this in some youth games and it seems to be catching on at all levels of football, What type of coaches let this happen? All over Tik Toc and Instagram.
