A lot of people are unaware of immigration problems

I didn’t realize until listening to some campaigning this week, just how diabolical these immigrants are. They have

1. left prisons and insane asylums
2. brought in fentanyl and guns to sell
3. Stolen our jobs making min wage
4. Used their “MK-47s” to overtake small towns across the Midwest.
5. Used all that money to outbid us for housing while cooking our pets in what should be our kitchens.

7 even classes

A thread I recently read made me think about this again and I wondered what this would look like with the new enrollments. After setting it up I notice one issue with the private school success factor. There would need to be a 3 class jump instead of 2, so I set the points at 3 for 1, 8 for 2, and 12 for 3.

Each class size was 43-44. The classes with the lowest ratio were set at 44. Class 1 had the highest ratio at 1.95 but all other classes ranged between 1.3 to 1.58. Districts had 5 or 6 teams and I tried to balance them out from east to west using the backward N Mshsaa typically uses. Travel was cut down some and nothing like Mshsaa has done in the last few years. This eliminated all 1v8 and 2v7 post-season matchups and even created 4v5 games giving schools competitive matchups to end the season and greater opportunities to have post-season success some schools are not used to.

At the end of the season, I will seed the district based on calpreps. I feel it is more accurate than maxpreps and would be better than mshsaa's formula with the addition of another class. I will also use the calpreps predictor each week through districts. I don't like the rotating districts and will reseed the district champs using calpreps. This is one change I wish Mshsaa would consider is continuing the point system through districts and seeding the district champs. They clearly don't care about travel so I'm not sure how they keep using that as a crutch.

2024 Schedules

I have seen a few populate, how long til we have them all??

As for Grain Valley I have seen theirs and have some games I am excited to see as they try and reload after losing some very big pieces.
9-6-24 Platte County @ GV cant wait to see how much better PC's offense has gotten with a year of growth.
10-4-24 Kearney @ GV K is supposed to have another stellar team and with this being week 6 will be a good measuring stick to how well the current seniors and juniors have filled the cleats of those before them
10-18-24 Fort Osage @ GV week 8 showdown, some in the area believe this may be the year for Fort to make a long run into the postseason, cant wait to see how good they are.

PSA** If your team is on GV schedule but not listed here I am not calling them bad, I just picked a few games that I am personally excited to see.

Ten Most Dominating Teams since 2003

This is an elite group of teams. To qualify, teams had to be (1) undefeated and (2) win the state title game by 20 points or more. Then a calculation is done with average point differential per game, with bonus points for shut outs and 30 point + wins. Deductions for < 10 point wins. So here are the results:

1). 2003 Kearney 98.14 Domination Score. 14-0, all wins > 30 points. 5 shut outs. (Best wins: Ladue 43-0, Webb 43-0, Grandview 42-7.) Total domination.

2) 2003 Centralia. 95.43. 14-0 with 13 wins over 30 points. Six shut outs. (Best wins: Blair Oaks 38-7, 35-0, Lawson 42-0)

3). 2015 Valle Catholic. 88.2. 15-0 with 11 wins +30. Four shut outs. (Close games with Marceline 16-13, and Thayer 17-10.)

4) 2015 Lamar. 86.27. 15-0 with 12 30+ wins, five shut outs. (Best wins: Carl Junction 56-34. Close game: Liberty 14-7)

5) 2005 Cameron 84.21. 13 30+ wins, two shut outs. Average point differential 42.

6) 2014 Valle Catholic 82.27

7) 2013 Valle Catholic 80.87

8) 2012 Webb City. 75.73. 15-0 with 11 30+ wins, three shutouts. Good night now, opponents.

9) 2014 Webb City. 74.2 15-0 with 10 30+ wins, four shut outs. (Rockhurst 40-14 (#2 Class 6), Kearney 38-7 (#2 in Class 4.) No one was going to play with this team.

10.) 2010 Penney 67.5

Survivor Pick Week 6???

If I missed this somewhere, I apologize wholeheartedly and humbly ask for forgiveness...however, I'm taking Hillsboro over Windsor Imperial in a game where the prodigal son returns home to face his former team.

A wise man once said, "There's only one real bird of prey in Jefferson County, and it ain't no damn hoot owl".

NWCMO Pick Em Week 5 Saturday morning update................HermanBoone with a solid lead!

TWO games contesting this early-mid afternoon. What a shocking week I had to use the freaking SUPER BONUS/DEDUCTION again in a game I not nearly saw turning out as a 60-pointer (usually consider KCMO > KCK) plus several bonus/deduction games that really spread the field out again!

Once today's finals are known (may try to peek in at both as my schedule allows) will post the weekly and overall stats. No way around there being some massive standings movement with four weeks left (I am north of 20 games for next week BTW)...............

Breakout Performers this Season?

I will start.
Larry Porter (2025) of Raytown that I mentioned a year ago on here is having killer season at WR on a team that isn't a winning program. Basketball stud that came out as a junior. True 6'3. I'd argue he is the best WR prospect in the state this year. Cool one handed grab in link below.
700 yds 42 receptions and 10 TDs. I believe he is playing both ways.
