Rock Bridge (3-1) at Helias (4-0) - Rock Bridge is a solid class 6 team but Helias is legit. Helias by a couple TDs at least

Hickman (1-3) at Smith-Cotton (0-4) - Poor Kewpies...

Jefferson City (2-2) at Capital City (3-1) - Capital City by as much as they want

Helias seems to be by far the best team in the conference. (private schools am I right) It should be between Camdenton, Rock Bridge, and Capital City to see who comes out as the second best team. The gap between the top 4 and bottom 4 is huge.

Just TWO months to go! As a quick review got a nice list of KC Metro "teams to watch" this fall (Rock and KMO beyond verified last year): St. Pius X, Platte County, Fort Osage and Liberty (see the Liberty legit thread for more info).

Ongoing heavy (for what should be obvious reasons) hometown/alma mater lean but particularly anxious about that bold italicized game during Texas State Fair weekend!

I'm starting to wonder how many of these NIL "deals" are broken promises. Starting to hear more stories from the high school front of this sort. A lot of big numbers get thrown around in the recruiting process, but then this stuff happens. Not to mention how some of these kids sign things in perpetuity.
All of these kids should be hiring lawyers when they start this process. There are plenty of alumni of their high schools that would be happy to charge a fee, but more importantly look out for a local kid.

A bit of a poll….Does anyone share my opinion that these game shorts worn in CFB and NFL look ridiculous?

Do the old knee pads prevent many injuries? Maybe not.

Do these shorts look stupid? Yes!

All I know is Chicago’s Dick Butkicker never wore shorts in a real football game.

Did I mention the two times last week when Mizzou let a receiver run straight down the field uncovered? Yes I did.

ON to Week 5 which was the toughest to select games so far this year and be forewarned not a lot of top end matchups ergo another rarity happens: The 8-man game will also be the NWCMO of the week (could be that class's biggest of the year) and there will be 2 contested on Saturday. A total of 19 games will post tomorrow morning with the customary 7 PM FRIDAY deadline for entries. GOOD LUCK everyone!

Just looking over the districts and I can say wow. Something has to change, either split all classes evenly or go back to 5 Classes or add a 7th Class. Also does it feel like most districts is spread out more than usual . Feels like more travel in these districts this year. Class .5 and Class 4 is WEAK!!!!. I promise we’ll see a lot of blowouts when the show me bowl happens the first weekend in December
