I did a lil digging on this Colquitt supposed cannon fodder at Trinity!

And this is what I found! TRUE, they have about forty players BUT! They only had FIVE seniors in 2017, and only one had any size! Returning is a squad that has seven OL/DL that are in the range of 290-330lbs.! They have five 4-5 star athletes, and three tall WR and a big TE! They have a senior all star QB, and four big RB in the 180-225lb. range! And they have some good sized smaller OL/DL, that could give them as many as a thirteen man rotation! And last but certainly not least, they have a NEW head coach, who was recommended by the parents to lead their kids! And a coach who was schooled by Gary Pinkel! You Mo boys don't sleep on Trinity next season, cause the Colquitt County Packers won't be! We scheduled these guys for a reason, and it wasn't target practice!

Fair Deal on North Korean Nukes

What if Trump would offer to remove all US forces from South Korea in exchange for North Korea giving up all nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program assets. Program to be implemented and verified by UN including US inspectors and technicians to VERIFY they are doing away with nukes and missile program

we don't really need the 25,000 servicemen there, they are basically a tripwire, if we move them to Japan they could be back on station at the DMZ in a matter of hours.

Commit to signing a peace treaty ending the war, but no US aid to North Korea of any kind unlike the Clinton/Albright deal

if we don't do something to defuse the situation we might as well start shooting now and do away with North Korea before its a real threat to the USA

Youth Sports and Parents

Last week I was talking to one of the kids who played youth football for me. I asked him if he was excited about football this year and he said well he was not going to play. I asked him why and he said he was tired he had played like a million basketball games all winter and had now just started playing baseball. I told him that was good you need to play other sports, but he said that was fine but they just got back from Texas where it seemed like he played a bazillion games down there and they were going to be traveling south again this weekend to play about the same. I asked why not play in the rec league and he said his dad wanted him to play better teams so he could get better but he was tired of it now. Not trying to pit football and other sports, but what has happened to letting kids just be kids and play the game for the love of the game. No wonder so many kids are burned out on all sports by the time they get to high school. It seems to me Parents are burning their kids out on all sports before they even get to high school trying to live a dream through their kids.

Jake Plummer on Kaepernick

“I think that they’re all scared, and that they’re uneducated on him as a person and what he wants to do,” Plummer said. “I don’t know if he wants to play for organizations run by scared, kind of bigoted people that don’t understand what it’s like to be in the shoes of someone like him and to see the things he’s seen and to relate to the people that go through the atrocities of what everyday people deal with. I don’t know. I hope someone does. I would really love it because I love watching him play. I would love to see him come here (to Denver), but I’m not sure if they would do that.”

Best excuse you have had for missing practice

What is the best (worst) excuse you have had a player or parent give you for missing or wanting to sit out of a practice?

Mine is a tie between - "Mom makes us do chores and I hurt my back sweeping the kitchen floor" and "Coach I can do the warm-up and non-contact stuff but I can't hit for a couple days because if I do my new tattoo will leak ink."

I know you guys have some good ones.

A teacher is handcuffed and jailed after criticizing school superintendent's raise

Rich just get richer and abuse the little people. This is going to back fire in the end.

Deyshia Hargrave couldn't believe her Louisiana school district's superintendent was slated to get a raise while teachers like herself struggled. So she spoke up at a school board meeting.

"You're making our job even more difficult," she told the Vermilion Parish school board, according to video from CNN affiliate KATC.
"A superintendent or any person in a position of leadership getting any type of raise, I feel like it's a slap in the face to all the teachers, cafeteria workers, and any other support staff we have."
Hargrave was called on twice during the public session of the school board's meeting. But KATV video shows that as she continued sharing her concerns, a city marshal hired by the school district escorted Hargrave out and handcuffed her in a hallway.

The video shows Hargrave screaming, "What are you doing?" at the marshal.

But school board member Laura LeBeouf expressed dismay after Hargrave was taken away.
"What happened here tonight -- the way that females are treated in Vermilion Parish ... I have never seen a man removed from this room," LeBeouf said.
Ike Funderburk, Abbeville's city attorney and prosecutor, told KATC he won't be prosecuting the teacher.
"I have reviewed the video and I am not going to approve any charges against the teacher," Funderburk said. "I talked with the attorney for the school board, and they do not wish to pursue any charges against the teacher."
The school board ended up approving the raise for Superintendent Jerome Puyau, whose salary increased from $110,190 to $140,188, KATC reports.
In a statement, Louisiana Association of Educators President Debbie Meaux denounced the way Hargrave was treated at the meeting.

School board Presiden Anthony Rontana thought it was handle correctly LOL.

How many teams should be in the college playoff?

Lots of people complaining about bowl season again. I like bowl season, and think it was wrecked with the "National Championship" chasing.

Group A and Group B... How reasonable that any one of them could win the whole thing? A little less likely for B, but it could happen if they were in an eight team tourney.

In group C, you could see a reasonable argument for USC or Penn St. having a chance...but come on? I love me some Miami Hurricanes, but no...they wouldn't make it to the championship in a 12 or 16 team playoff.

Eight teams would be perfect...
