Webb City 42 Ctown 28 Final !!

Not to already peek ahead too much but my 2025 KC metro teams to watch annual is just three words: WASH RINSE REPEAT.
GV will depend on the transfer portal.... I mean the development of sophmore QB. RB is loaded not as much as last 2 years to start but I got my eye on a junior to pair with the #2 back from this year. D should improve as well.

They are still not as good as PC or PIUS in my opinion

Webb City 42 Ctown 28 Final !!

Goes to show why you never write a top program off. We all think PC will prevail big time Friday but this team's core is JRs so who knows they may have left it all on the field vs. long ago rival Pius who was beyond the real deal.
One thing that IS certain is the atmosphere down that way because I know the Pirates are gonna bring pretty much the whole town and surrounding areas to Webb. I would do that drive down but can't get off work early enough.
I contemplated drive but chose LSN with PC on the phone

On3 Percent Chances to Win

Maryville-Odessa is near impossible to try to figure. A nice win here and there mixed with some real head scratchers and, in the Spoofhounds case, three real glaring blowout losses. Good luck with that one, folks!
It will be a good one. Maryville struggled to beat Cameron on their own field last week. They played several tough matchups this year and with that you have your blow outs that your referring to with Pius X KC, Savannah, Blair Oaks, and Lutheran North.

Odessa, on the other hand played well in most of their matchups. The only true head scratcher I see was when they played Chilicothe. The others, Warrensburg score was close but Warrensburg is a great team right now, same goes for Pleasant Hill.

I agree on paper this looks like a toss up

Other little observations: C1 Tipton vs. Harrisburg was a close regular season one. C2 intersectional between Higginsville and Fair Grove seems very hard to figure but sure never saw the Huskers scoring like they did last week. C3 already covered. C4 no real opinion except let's see if KMO and/or LN are peeking ahead this weekend. C5 would have Helias-Republic more in the tossup category. C6 LIberty is indeed lots healthier than first matchup but like PH's offense anyway that should be a great one to attend Saturday. I'd also watch that DeSmet-RB game that may be closer than many suspect.

On3 Percent Chances to Win

Really interested how Dexter does against Lift for Life. Dexter came from behind to beat St. Gen. Earlier in the season Dexter beat in a hard fought matchup against Southern Boone at Dexter. Lift for life escaped a defensive struggle with John Burroughs on Saturday and blown out Borgia the week prior who of course was unbeaten until that point. It would be nice to see this matchup first hand if I didn't have prior engagements.

Nixa at Lee's Summit North

I'll play along. Well they only play C6 KC area schools (7 of them) and two out of state schools. Sheer numbers in the way the playoffs are done would seriously limit that possibility. They did, also, end the season of two of those seven they played during the regular season. Another one was in their district. Of the remaining four in state teams, three played in the same district (won by Liberty). The other was Staley, and they somehow suck now.

Or, in short, no...but facts kinda matter.

It's like asking the question...Did Webb win their district? The answer is yes. But then you could ask...Is this Webb team any good? And we all know the answer would be no. But hey, they won another district title. Let's see how they do with the real C5 teams.
If you were still in KC you'd know why Staley is dooooown.

C5 Week 4 Playoff Predictions by cal preps

Platte County by a mile................it always starts with the QB he is the best in KC since Miami Dolphins backup Skylar Thompson. A receiving corps deluxe and an underrated D that really bothered an outstanding Pius who beat one of the top teams all classes in KS (St. James Academy) and played Rockhurst within 6 until the last couple of minutes.

Now if the bus breaks down or all the kids get the flu....................
ok, platte county wins it all, got it.
