Annual KC Simone Awards

The D awards went to KS kids (Buchanan to Jayden Woods of Mill Valley and Bell to Ashton Moore of Louisburg). Frankly thought our local superstar LB Grace would win but they do tend to try to keep the winners equal between MO and KS which I can't stand.
Yeah not a big fan of that..... Grace and Thompson are beasts on the defensive side. Kind of thought one would have won it.

Annual KC Simone Awards

Who won the Defensive Player awards?

Mozee winning seems to be more or the name alone. Didn't hear his name near as much as a few others this year. I thought LS had 2 kids that had better numbers than him.

Annual KC Simone Awards

CONGRATULATIONS to Liberty RB Jaxon Hicks for winning this coveted award! Very well deserved.................

Two other MO HSFB players won their respective categories as well:

Warrensburg QB Kobe Westphal won the Fontana (most electric player I saw in person this year)
LS North WR Isaiah Mozee won the Taylor

Biden pardons Hunter!!!

In the end he is President Elect of the United States of America

The fact that a state AG got elected running on a platform that she would put Trump in prison is beyond lawfare. Very good chance the New York conviction is thrown out and Trump brings federal racketeering charges against everyone involved

It is not "lawfare" to run on the idea of convicting a criminal of a crime when there is enough evidence for a jury to see fit to do so. Substitute the word "Trump" in that sentence with "people for whom there is copious evidence of crimes committed" and it's not too objectionable, is it?

Thomas Jefferson on Constitutions

The extremely high bar of the Amendment process, is the biggest barrier to changes in our Constitution, more so than partisanship in my opinion.

I'm not sure what Jefferson considered "progress of the human mind" but I say one man's "progress" could be another's extremism, and the process is designed to counteract anything that is not sensible and desirable to a large majority.

Jefferson wanted the constitution to be re-written every 20 years, so that each new generation could govern itself by the laws that they saw fit to pass. That's one of those things that sounds really good in one's head, but probably would have eventually led us back into something closer to monarchy/dictatorship after a few generations and a couple wars.

~~ Montgomery County wins own tournament...

Helps when you get a class 6 all-state player move in and MSHSAA lets him play too. Kind of crazy his sister still attends his former school.
My understanding is, they have owned a home in Montgomery County for years but the kids attended Troy because the parents taught there. The daughter elected to stay at Troy, Andrew chose to enroll at Montgomery County. Not crazy at all.
