I heard a lot about PCs offense but I was equally if not more impressed with their defense. It was apparent to me early in the first quarter that they were probably going to shut out Webb city. To be fair Webb city probably didn’t belong in the quarters but still I haven’t seen a team shut down Webbs offense like that in a really long time even nixa earlier this year.

Offensively they seemed a bit similar to Nixa in that they could run or throw and even if you somehow managed to get them in a 3rd and forever situation they would get whatever they needed to move the sticks. Just a team functioning at a very high level. I was really impressed with them.

They have a great QB and they spread you out. Big target for a TE and speedy receivers. If you play a soft zone like MICDS did against Smithville in 2021, they will carve you up like what happened in that semifinal game. Gotta play physical!
