BO vs Hallsville

2 years ago, in the Class 2 semifinals, Blair Oaks traveled to Bowling Green in what many in Bowling Green considered the biggest game in Bowling Green history. They knew who BO was and knew how big of a task it would be to take them down. BG packed their stadium 3 times over. BO fans traveled quite well as well. BO won 66-48 in a Dylan Hair showcase.

2 years later, during BG's senior day for football, several seniors were asked what their biggest thrill during their time at BG. was 5 of those seniors noted that playing Blair Oaks 2 years prior was their biggest thrill in the semifinals in 2022.

Why am I talking about that when BO is playing Hallsville. Well, it's simple, Hallsville needs to enjoy the moment as a team and as a town.

Final score will be about 66-7 or 59-12 if Hallsville catches a break and actually finds the endzone. No exaggeration. BO defense gets free donuts if they are able to shut out the other team. So far they have done it 5 times this season. Hallsville is playing their best ball by far right now but BO makes their living of making good teams look bad by taking what you do best away from you. Good Luck Hallsville, bring the entire town, make a ton of noise, pack that stadium 3 times over so they all can enjoy the moment but it will be over before halftime on Saturday.
Can't wait for the Glazier circuit this winter Blair Oaks coaching staff speaking on the power of Donuts on a defense!

Turboman sounds like to me that Hallsville Maryville and Odessa should just pack up and begin wrestling and playing hoops...

We would hate to see Blair Oaks suffer the same fate as CBC....

BO vs Hallsville

Ah yes, LN also decided to use BO as a measuring stick. They got their rear ends beat for a few years then last year and this year they got better and played a more complete game and beat not only BO but as you might have seen... Cardinal Ritter as well. So I am sure you saw that. Those 2 wins are the only 2 wins any of the STL private schools had against them since John Burroughs in 2015.
So i think you're missing the point.

It's not all about B.O.

come out into the real world.

Are any of the teams LSN beat this year still playing football??
I'll play along. Well they only play C6 KC area schools (7 of them) and two out of state schools. Sheer numbers in the way the playoffs are done would seriously limit that possibility. They did, also, end the season of two of those seven they played during the regular season. Another one was in their district. Of the remaining four in state teams, three played in the same district (won by Liberty). The other was Staley, and they somehow suck now.

Or, in short, no...but facts kinda matter.

It's like asking the question...Did Webb win their district? The answer is yes. But then you could ask...Is this Webb team any good? And we all know the answer would be no. But hey, they won another district title. Let's see how they do with the real C5 teams.

C5 Week 4 Playoff Predictions by cal preps

PREVIOUS WEEKS PREDICTIONS IN ()

Quarters
Cardinal Ritter 38 Lafayette 17 (was 38-14)
Helias 24 Republic 28 (was Helias 28 Branson 27)
MICDS 34 FZW 19 (was 34-17)
Webb City 26 Platte County 31 (was Carthage 31 St Pius 28)

Semis
Ritter 35 Republic 21 {23 state champ rematch} (was Ritter 34 Helias 17)
MICDS 24 Platte County 34 (was Carthage 28 MICDS 19)

Final
Cardinal Ritter 35 Platte County 22 (was Ritter 31 Carthage 20)

Each week ive tried to do something new, this week ill include what and why i think cal preps is wrong
You have seen me disagree with calpreps repeatedly but never elaborate on it, however you see the team changes here and can even track score disparity if you wanted.

CR vs Lafayette is probably spot on
Helias vs Republic is eye opening for some and comes from repub beating a Branson team that was given too much credit. don't get me wrong I think Cal Preps is close on this one just don't agree with how they got there. Repub was better than Branson from Day 1.
MICDS vs FZW having not seen either play i would lean towards FZW making it closer than 25 points most likely 14 or less but then again this is my least confident game
Webb vs PC Webb is getting too much credit for beating a Carthage team that was missing a huge playmaker and made 1000 mistakes. PC hasnt scored less than 40 since week 3 and that dont change this week PC by 21+

Ritter vs Republic is much closer this year 7 or less but CR still wins
MICDS vs PC is another 20 pt win by PC

Ritter vs PC this may be the game where PC doesn't score 40 or the game where they score 60 depends on how PC defense does but PC still wins. If CR can keep their heads its a close game if they start self destructing it gets ugly.

call me wrong, call me crazy, call me whatever you want just dont call @BoosterBosko late to dinner cuz that mfer sleeps at the table
That Helias Catholic-Republic rematch could be the C5 game of the week. Was a one score RepMO win last year this same round.

IF Platte County and MICDS, as we suspect, face off it will be in STL Thanksgiving weekend. Not good for Plaza Frontenac Christmas shopping..............:)

Mshsaa has not done 2 year classification in a long time. it is annually.

This last part is not aimed at you but some folks on this board suck at finding information or fail to look so that it benefits them. So with that being said here it is straight from the mshsaa handbook.

Enrollment Declaration: Member school enrollment declaration takes place annually. As per By-Laws 5.1.6, member schools will submit an electronic report of all students who are enrolled on the last Wednesday in March in grades 9-11 by name. Information regarding the process and requirements will be sent to the membership in advance, and is available on the MSHSAA website. The window to submit the report on the MSHSAA website is from April 1 to April 15. The report is DUE April 15.

Annual Schedule for Schools Reclassification: MSHSAA member schools are classified annually based on updated school enrollment figures. The schools in each classification, or class, will compete against one another in MSHSAA-sponsored district and/or state competition. The District and State Music Festivals are evaluative only. MSHSAA does not sponsor state championships in "emerging sports/activities” (see By-Law 5.2) and there are no classifications.
My bad. The enrollment for the current year is from the previous year, thus the reasoning for not including senior classes in the enrollment numbers.

BO vs Hallsville

Bowling Green played in a state title game in 09, pretty sure that would be a bigger game then playing in a semifinal
Those seniors were not in high school and would not have played football at BG in 2009. I don't think it would be wise for 5 year olds to be playing football in a high school championship game.
I'm not sure if what he said is true or not, but I can read that it's talking about the BG seniors of this year. I'm no rocket scientist, but I don't think those seniors would've been on the 09 team...
Yes it is true. I heard it myself. I was very surprised to hear that from the public announcer but yes it is true.

MRVC enrollments

so lets get this correct you think Penn state has a better resume that Texas?
that little 10 world is like Disneyland. only issue is the CFP wont be at Disneyland and all the magical dust you snortin will be gone.
I am saying that MY PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS are a BETTER team than the Texas Longhorns! And have you ever been to Disneyland? Its a WONDERFUL TIME!!! The BIG 10 is here to continue its REIGN over the SEC!!
