“Latavia Brooks will play a very big role inside,” Heeb said. “We expect Shia Fountain and Isis Ducker to play big roles on the defensive end and help with scoring.”

The defensive end will be a big point of emphasis for Heeb and the Eagles this year.

“We will have to buy in on the defensive end and be very aggressive when it comes to

rebounding,” Heeb said. “Offensively we will have to continue to improve our ball handling and creating good shots throughout the season.”

NMCC will open their season Nov. 27 in the Riverbend Shootout in New Madrid.
