Ditto....for me as well. C19 is real and a killer for the old, weak and infirm. But at the end of the Day People have to accept the Reality that death is going to occur and that the Economic destruction is far worse long term for the American way of life and the future population.

I doubt a effective Vaccine is ever found, hope I'm wrong. And if John Hopkins is to Be believed to Reach 70% herd immunity then 500,000 to 1 million will have to perish before it will be achieved...that is if herd immunity is even possible with this virus? It very well might not ever happen.

I totally understood the reasoning behind flatting the curve...to prevent health care from being overwhelmed. But outside of the Metro hot spots that has not happened, and Hospitals are furloughing Staff leading to the closing of services thus causing patients to suffer long term as procedures have been postponed. People are suffering from the loss of finances and Civil unrest is brewing because outside of NYC the actual problem hasn't manifested to a large degree. So things will have to go back to Normal and rather quickly.

Maybe we should of went the way of Sweden...per-capita death rate is slightly head of ours at 34 per 100k but still behind Spain,Italy,UK and France.
