First game that comes to mind this week is De Smet vs CBC. Only 2 top 100 teams in Missouri facing off in the second round. Any other good matchups ??

I know St. Mary’s was short on games this year. How are they looking? Valle is in prime form so does STM have a chance?
They have some good players. Kevin Coleman is legit at WR. STM defense has given up points to Trinity and LN. Trinity should have beaten them, but they kicked the ball the Coleman, and he scored the winning TD. I think Valle wins, but who knows.

I don’t know much about trinity outiside of 1-3
Whats up with the record? Tough regular season competition ?
St. Mary's, Lutheran North, and Chaminade. Could easily be 3-1. Lost to Chaminade by 2 points. Micds is usually solid on both sides of the ball. Should be a good game on Saturday.

Macon finished a unofficial 4th in the CCC behind Palmyra, Centralia, and Monroe City. Funny, it's also the 4 teams Brookfield lost to this season. Your point again was...?
That I don’t know much about Macon and I’m trying to get a scope of why it’s a good matchup?
what’s your point of asking my point ?

Because the tone of your original post doesn't line up with results on the field. St Pius shouldn't have any difficulty with Brookfield. Perhaps we'll see what Palmyra can bring, but as a whole the CCC was down this year. Only Palmyra or Monroe City will advance out of districts IMO.

Sorry about the tone. It was an information gathering question. Not one to be snide.

I'll take Tonka

After Tonka's last two outings, I would have taken Kearney - but then I saw them play Excelsior last Friday, and that was the worst performance that I've seen from a Bulldog team (probably 15 years) - even in victory. This one is likely a toss-up. Tonka should be able to move it through the air and Kearney should try to control the ball on the ground. Whichever one win gets destroyed next week.

Sea Otter de jour

After skinning and trimming the fat from the carcass, marinade the otter in 1 part Worcestershire sauce to two parts lemon juice. Set smoker to 250F. Use apple or mesquite wood chips for the best flavor. Wrap the meat tightly in aluminum foil and return to smoker for three hours. At this point, baste the otter carcass in marinade, remove from foil and return to smoker for an additional 2 hours.
Serve with diced cabbage, horseradish Sauce, and plenty of lemon wedges.

Bon appetite!
Sure
