The Birds have a rich history, but I'm of the opinion this season may just be one of the best I have ever seen considering the adversity they have had to deal with.
I though LaRussa did a great job the year Kyle died, and it doesn't get any tougher than that, but this year has been one thing after another.
They may not even win the Division Series, but this team has shown a lot of heart and as much as Matheny drives me crazy with some of his game decisions, his leadership skills are exceptional.
